Personality
Behavior: He is a man obsessed with power and wealth, one who creates conflict in order to manipulate the global financial markets. He will go to any length to get his objectives and has no concern for the lives of those caught up in his engineered conflicts, however his familia are vital to him and cherished even if he sometimes even makes them suffer for failures. He treats everything like a transaction as money is his greatest desire, as long as he can stay wealthy by his means then he is happy. He is often considered megalomaniacal and a warmonger, how he does it from just one city nobody can figure out. However for all his eccentricity he harbors hatred for his two sisters and had a soft spot for his brother, why this is rather simple and elegant. His sisters seek to remove him from power and take over, but his brother is pretty cool and his chief advisor in what markets to manipulate and other financial matters. Other than that he is violent and loves fighting himself, often participating in illegal pit fights and fighting rings he runs as a special combatant. Every fight has fought in has never been fair, and he is a notorious cheater and likes to bully and torture his enemies before killing them.

Special Ability: His special attack favors the outcome of his two dice, he will drop them on the ground and call it. If the number is right on then his flames double in intensity and are stronger for a however many minutes as was rolled. If the number is above the called number then the duration of the flames is halved, and if the number is lower there is no effect. The only exception is snake eyes, then the effect is successful no matter what and is the maximum duration which is twelve minutes. This technique is known as the devils luck, for it can turn on you as easily as it can benefit you.

Weapon and Description: He uses a scythe that looks as nasty as it is deadly, though it has the same flexibility as a three sectioned staff and the blade can flip into a vertical position making it both a scythe and a pole arm in one.

History: The Corsari name may be young amongst the Mafia world, but their current leader is by far one of the most feared in the family. His father was the head before him and being the second youngest he was tested even more than his sisters. He was raised to be mafia and he took the lessons well, at the age of eight he had already engineered a takeover of a rival family’s casino. His sisters who were older and just as intelligent had not achieved anything like this, however their means made them more suited to being hitmen. Chosen as his father’s successor angered them and Giovanni found himself now facing an internal conflict, but that was in the shadows and always only involved those three. His grandfather had been able to bring the city of Las Vegas under heel, and his father had made their grip even tighter. However he was not like his father and had his eyes outside the city. His kid brother was his greatest ally and he groomed him into the man who would become his second in command, however what came ten years later shook the family to its core and allowed Giovanni to reshape it.

At the age of eighteen he killed his own father and took the sky ring from him, however undisputable he immediately had Tristan reassess the family assets and using the new numbers spread his influence outside of the city. In the five years that followed his influence in the world markets had finally become present, by manipulating hot zones where valuable resources were prevalent. At twenty-three he had managed to crush or his minor enemies as well, but his major enemies entered into an alliance against him. This was when the families hold on the city was tested, and though it took several years to quell this he made this alliance scatter with a decisive blow to their financial assets. By the age of thirty-one he had a reputation as a man who would do anything to get his way, and rumors around the mafia world circulated that he was engineering conflicts and reaping the financial rewards. Before him the Corsari were scum but they had honor and integrity, now he singlehandedly revealed the family’s true colors that were hidden from view. He was also well known in the underground fighting rings for his ferocity in his fights, and his love of fighting that knew no mercy.

The day that the family’s storm ring, Corsair as it was called had been stolen he was at his worst. Having been shot in the leg by the traitor and the ring taken from the case, he had four men who had been defeated by the upstart killed. He made immediate notice to the familia and other family’s who were regarded as close in terms of friends as they wished to be that there was a contract on the traitors head, very hefty and very valuable as was fitting of the crime. Since that day he has become more brutal and more cunning, trying to outwit an enemy who knows the families methods is by far the superior foe. In his reign as head of the family he has removed the veneer of decency, and exposed the dark heart of the Corsari to the mafia world.

RP Sample: It was just before midnight on a Saturday night, and in the basement of the casino the Corsari family made their headquarters in there was another night of illegal fighting going on. Tonight there was a special match, the current champion had been winning too often and it was suspected he was cheating, while that was often overlooked this winning streak was going on too long. A death match had been tabled between Giovanni and somebody with talent from New York, however this one was rigged and he would win. He might have offered this man a position but the man had known ties to the federal authorities, and he was a risk of being a fed himself. So when the fight started the man who was a good foot taller than the head of the family was allowed to get an edge, Giovanni was finding this fight difficult even if he would not admit it and yet he was enjoying this fight so far. After ten minutes he was tossed his weapon and then activated his flames, he could not use them without a ring but he was terrifying when using his ring.

The moment his scythe was out the fight was over; smashing the man around with the handle until he could no longer stand he kicked his fallen opponent to the ground. In front of everyone he raised the weapon over his head and ran his opponent through, before leaving through the door he entered silently. The look on his face and the fact he was actually hurt made this worth it, to watch and for him as he felt good having finished someone off who could no longer even stand. Hitting the shower he planned on hitting the town and taking in a show or two, maybe even actually gambling a little with some of his pocket change. ”Don’t follow me, or I’ll kill you guys. Find someone else to bug tonight, have it off.” He commented to the pair of men who were his bodyguards, why he needed them he had no idea but it was as it always had been. After getting dressed he headed into the city alone, to have some fun and maybe forget about the matter of that nephew who actually had a conscience.
